Fundraising option on Theatre Production Tickets

I spoke with Kelly about the new fundraising feature in which we are going to try for our Spring theatre production. I was looking at offering donations to be given at the time of the ticket purchase without having to choose the fundraising sale. She had mentioned that I could create a flat ticket for said donations but then that would go against my total number of tickets sold for the event which would drive up my numbers to the capacity level.
